Fishing the Anarondaks @ RSR

Pack 28's Scouts enjoyed a day out fishing in the Anarondaks in Rainbow Scout Reservation in Morris, IL on Sunday May 31, 2015. It was a cool day, but no rain. The kids got to catch, clean, cook, and eat the fish they caught.
Pause For Patriotism 2015

Pack 28 joined in with other Scout Units at the Pause For Patriotism event at River Rd. Park in Kankakee on the weekend of May 17-19, 2015. Enjoyable weather and lots of activities. Visited with servicemen and women. Many veterans were met and talked with. Military vehicles and personnel were on display as were many other displays and attractions. We even found some time to go fishing on the Kankakee River. What an enjoyable weekend.
Astronomy Campout

Pack 28 had a Astronomy Campout in the Broadway Greenway in Joliet on the weekend of May 1-3, 2015. Saturn, Jupiter and Jupiter's moons were viewed through a 8" telescope. Other activities were enjoyed during the day. The weather was absolutely wonderful.
Cubabunga 2015 @ RSR

Pack 28 joined in with other Scout Units at the Cubabunga event at Rainbow Scout Reservation in Morris on April 18, 2015. Enjoyable weather and lots of activities. Archery and BB's are always a favorite with the Scouts. The hike was enjoyed by the boys and learned a lot about nature while we were there.
